Turning off the electric tug after use

  1. Park in a safe, dry and well-ventilated place with a temperature between -10°C / 40°C (14°F / 104°F).
  2. Turn off the electric tug by switching the ‘on/off’ button to ‘off’, or by turning the ignition key to ‘off’.

Power is automatically turned off after 10 minutes of inactivity. The electric tug then goes into sleep mode (two red LEDs flash). If this is the case, the electric tug can be turned on again by switching the ‘on/off’ button to ‘off’ and switch it back ‘on’ (or by turning the ignition key). Now the electric tug is ready for use again.

The electromagnetic parking brake is automatically activated in the absence of power and/or after 2 seconds (programmable) of inactivity of the electric tug. It is automatically released when the operator starts to drive again. The parking brake will also be activated when the emergency stop is pressed.

In case of placing the electric tug in idle mode for more than a month, it is recommended to connect the battery to the external charger. The trickle charge function will keep the battery continuously charged.
