Description of the electric tug
The electric tug is an electrically powered transport aid that drives steplessly forward and backward. The load is connected to the rear of the electric tug by means of a hook.
The steering mechanism is located at the front of the electric tug. It consists of the tiller head which is connected to a steering/driving wheel via the steering shaft.

The operator controls the electric tug while walking along with the electric tug. The tiller head is used to determine the direction of travel and the speed.
The drive wheel is driven by a motor with an electromagnetic brake. When the DCL is released, the electric tug slows down until it comes to a controlled stop. At standstill, the parking brake automatically engages. The parking brake is a separate electromagnetic brake.
The motor and other electrical systems are powered by an interchangeable battery that must be inserted into the battery holder.
