Cleaning

An important part of periodic maintenance is cleaning. Before any cleaning process is started, make sure that the electric tug is turned off and (if possible) has its battery removed or disconnected. This to prevent the risk of short circuiting and/or unwanted movement of the electric tug or its components. Clean the electric tug with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use high-pressure spray and/or chemicals for cleaning. When cleaning the electric tug pay immediate attention to things that stand out such as; loose bolts/nuts, damaged cables, wear on the hook and/or wheels.
