Storage
| Note | |
|---|---|
When storing an electric tug that you will not use for a longer period of time (≥ one month):
- Make sure the electric tug is switched off;
- Charge the battery at least once a month or leave the charging cable connected so that the trickle charge function remains active. This prevents the battery from being deeply discharged and failing;
- Store the electric tug in a dry, safe and frost-free place.
If, after delivery to the dealer or user, the electric tug must remain packaged in storage for a long period, the corresponding packaging must be stored in a sheltered, dry and well-ventilated place, protected from direct sunlight and with a temperature of between -10°C / 40°C (14°F / 104°F). The batteries should also be recharged periodically as indicated in Charging the battery.
